Jiujitsu- "...is an unarmed system of self-defense, which originated purely out of man's necessity to survive. It incorporates both hard techniques (punches and kicks) and soft techniques (nerve centers, submission holds, wrist locks). It is a highly effective means of self-defense, due primarily to the simplicity of physical movements and the minimum amount of strength needed to perform a technique. This ia s unique quality which makes it ideal for anyone to learn, regardless of age, physical size, or strength. Jiujitsu not only physically prepares the student for a self-defense situation, but it mentally prepares the student for ecveryday life situations by buil;ding their self-confidence and sel-awareness. It helps them manage their stress as well as develp cognitive skills like critical thinking and problkem solving." (Sensi Master Bob Malvagno, 1970's)
All new students will begin martial arts training at the white belt level and work to acchieve Yellow belt ranking. As the 42 weeks move, belt levels will be tested and those who show prorgress will be moved up in belt rank. At the start of each following year the stdeunts belt rank will follow them and allow them to move to more advanced levels. When a student graduates out and they wish to continue their training, they could go to any school and most likely keep their belt level. The following is a full outline for the martial arts part of their trainning.
