Holistic Learning: Science Education with Ballet and Jiu-Jitsu
Gateway Science Center specializes in holistic learning in Suffolk County, NY, for middle and high school homeschooled students. This program includes a 3-hour weekly session, for High School students and a 2-hour 15 min weekly session for Middle School level students. (42 sessions from September to June).

We value community involvement and appreciate parent/guardian support. To thank you, we offer a volunteer discount for assisting at the front lobby during class hours.
$20 off tuition per shift (Max 4 shifts per month)

Volunteers ensure a safe environment by monitoring the lobby, ensuring students stay secure, and greeting visitors. This opportunity is available to all parents/guardians, regardless of the program their child is enrolled in.

- 8th Grade Science (1:19 p.m.–2:04 p.m.), Ballet (2:06 p.m.–2:51 p.m.), and Jiu-Jitsu (2:53 p.m.–3:38 p.m.)
The center aims to enroll a total of 60 students in the Holistic program (with no more than 10 students per session) .
The ideal maximum enrollment is 90 students, which could allow for a third Holistic session.
